Emovis, a leader in toll-based mobility solutions and a division of the Abertis Mobility Services, has been awarded a contract from Highways England to manage UK enforcement services at Dartford Crossing. The 10 and a half year deal includes an 18-month transition period, followed by a 7 year initial term, with the opportunity to extend up to a further 2 years. The Dartford-Thurrock River Crossing is a critical part of the strategic road network in the South East of England linking the M25 across the Thames. The Free Flow charging scheme provides smooth crossings for an average of 165,000 vehicles daily.
