The deal includes joined tolling and mobility business development and innovation across EMEA and North America

Barcelona, Spain, September 14th, 2020 – Abertis Mobility Services (AMS), the electronic solutions subsidiary by Abertis Group, leader in tolling (managing 9.000+  Highways kms and 20+ concessions) and mobility solutions today announced an agreement with IBM Services  to accelerate innovation and deployment of advanced technologies­ into existing  and new AMS tolling operations across Europe and North America.

As innovation in mobility accelerates it creates new opportunities to deliver future focused, intelligent transport solutions. This partnership will enable both AMS and IBM to collaborate, innovate and deploy solutions that benefit from their respective expertise. This extends to Free-Flow / ETC Tolling, Truck Tolling, Congestion Charging, and Automotive Tolling solutions that will help transform the customer experience,  decrease road congestion, lower CO2 emissions,  improve road safety and will positively contribute to the sustainability of the transportation industry and mobility solutions now and into the future.
