emovis, a leader in toll-based mobility solutions, has launched a new, innovative competition that is focussed on start-ups. Mobility 2025 Challenge is targeted at organisations that will explore and develop innovative experiences in road mobility and transport over the next 5 years. The winning project will receive €10,000 in funding, as well as exclusive access to emovis’ global sales channels with a potential for emovis to invest up to €100,000 in development of the market-ready solution.

The competition has three categories for entrants:

          • Infrastructure and Vehicles: What could be the modes of road transportation and infrastructure of tomorrow?
          • Customer Experience and Services: What services could provide users with new road mobility experiences?
          • Big Data and Analytics: How to use big data and analytics to predict and manage the road mobility trends of tomorrow.

Jurica Ursic, Head of Technology said “As one of the leaders in the area of smart road mobility solutions, emovis is constantly exploring how to make road transport more seamless for commuters. This competition presents an opportunity for emovis to meet and support like-minded start-up companies and accelerate innovation in this area”.

To enter the competition, participants must create a short presentation and video on their project. Companies must submit a Proof of Concept, including market analysis, a roll out plan, and a business plan. Following a selection process, three shortlisted companies will present their idea to senior management across the emovis global team. The second prize is €5,000 and third prize is €3,000. The deadline for entry into the competition is 29 November 2020.
